Tips for installing floor mats on uneven car floors

  Hey all,
  I just bought some custom rubber floor mats for my old SUV, but the floors are a bit uneven and the mats won’t sit flat in a couple spots (mostly near the passenger seat where the floor curves weirdly). Anyone got tips for getting mats to lay properly on uneven surfaces? Thanks in advance!

  Hey! I had a similar issue with my SUV mats. You can try gently heating the mats with a hairdryer to make them more flexible, then press them into place to mold better to the curves. Also, using some non-slip mat tape underneath can help keep them from shifting.
